This is a free screening event with a lecture from RIIFF Programming Director, Shawn Quirk, about using a film's genre to tell a story.

A Boy's Life is a short narrative told only through visuals. It takes what initially appears to be a portrait of a troubled youth and twists to reveal a world gone awry.
